Conflict Management

"Communities need tensions if they are to grow and deepen. Tensions come from conflicts... A tension or difficulty can signal the approach of a new grace of God. But it has to be looked at wisely and humanly" (Jean Vanier, Community and Growth (New York: Paulist Press, 1989), pp. 120-121.

Conflict is a reality in our lived experience. There are moments in the life of every organization in which some aspect of conflict may arise. Whether it be conflict amongst employees, between a supervisor and supervisee, or amongst volunteers, it can help to have an objective third party enter into the situation to offer suggestions about how best to proceed. Integrating a deeply pastoral presence, varied experiences in conflict management, even-keeled communication strategies, and a 'think-outside-the-box" approach, we offer positive results for you and your organization. The tension to which Vanier so aptly refers can indeed become a springboard for postitive growth for your organization and we would love to help make this a reality!

Tackling problems head-on...

"When you are offering your gift at the altar, if you remember that your borther or sister has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother or sister, and then come and offer your gift" (Matthew 5:23-24).
